About the Coalition

The Canadian Coalition for Community Capital is a 5-year advocacy initiative and network that aims to make it easier for everyday Canadians to invest in the future of their communities. We support tools like community bonds, co-op shares, and other investment options that allow people to put their money into projects and organizations they care about — financing affordable housing, clean energy, local businesses and more.

Our network brings together community bond issuers, cooperatives, investment platforms, and funds working to build strong, local economies. 

We believe community investment is a powerful way to create lasting social, environmental and economic impact across Canada.
